Every year the financial Accounts of  Wilberfoss Parish Council are subject to an audit.  In order to meet the requirements of the Audit a number of documents are available for public scrutiny. These include the Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) (incorporating the Internal Auditor's Report, the Annual Governance Statement and the Accounting Statement), together with a Statement of Significant Variation and Bank Reconciliation for the  financial year.  A Notice of Public Rights (providing details of how members of the public may gain access to the financial records of the Parish Council linked to the year's Audit) is also displayed. Copies of Wilberfoss Parish Council's AGAR for the last 3 years can be downloaded below.  If the annual income and expenditure of a Parish Council is below £25,000 a Certificate of Expemption can be filed with the External Auditor.  This negates the need for an external audit, thus saving public funds.
