Ok, so this might just be asking a little too much, but it's imperative that for the safety of everyone, boundary hedges and trees do not obstruct highways and footways. East Riding of Yorkshire Council can intervene if measures are not taken to clear an obstruction. Homeowner could be charged for any work carried out.
