To help residents to understand boundary hedge maintenance requirements

We have drawn up a  Boundary Hedge Policy to offer clear direction to residents about what is expected in terms of boundary hedges and trees on the edge of their property boundary.  This is important maintenance so that public footpaths, pavements and highways remain accessible to all.  In addition, streetlights must also be free from vegetation.
